I have designed this website as a journal, an account of what happened to me and what I found helpful and useful during my experience of being a first time Mum. I'm still growing and learning as I go. This is not one of those clinical, cold and impersonal sites that you may have come across, this is my personal story. It has been my labour of love and I really hope you like
it.
The happiest day of my life was when we found out we were pregnant, but along with that came trepidation and anxiety. I was suddenly hit with the realisation that in nine months time I would become the guardian of a new life. So I started studying like I'd never done before reading every article and book I could get my hands on:.JPG)

Natural birth, drugs or caesarean.

Disposable or cloth nappies (diapers).
These were some of the early questions that floated around in my head. I was heading into a world of the unknown with no instruction manual.
Takeaway from this website what you feel is relevant to you, remembering I'm just a Mum, but the most important thing I can tell you is "Do what feels right for the safety and wellbeing of you and your baby" Always seek medical advise if something doesn't feel right or you are in doubt about anything. I never felt like an over protective parent when I went down to the doctor to get advice.
Have fun and enjoy this time with your new baby... time goes by so quickly and they will be starting school before you know it...
